Fireboat 15 Assist On Vessel Fire

Just before noon, crew members were aboard FB-15 in the Delaware River for operator training when they were requested along with fire boats from Bowers Fire Company Inc. and Little Creek Fire Company to assist USCG and New Jersey units with a 42' vessel on fire in the Delaware Bay off of Port Mahon. U.S. Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay personnel were able to remove the crew members from the vessel which was well involved with fire. The fire was extinguished by several fire boats and FB-15 returned to service.
